READHow To Use

How to read and use these fishing apparel size charts.

One thing decides whether a chart works for you: what is being measured. Read this first — it's what makes every table below usable, and it's the same convention across all of them.

Every table below reads in centimetres and inches.
Switches which unit leads — the numbers stay the same either way.

These are garment measurements, not body measurements.

Every number below is the finished garment, laid flat and measured edge to edge (a “point of measure”) — not the body it fits. A garment chest is the body chest plus the ease designed into the style, so you match your body measurement to the garment number with room; you don't look for a garment number equal to your chest.

cm and inches, both, on every table.

Each table carries both units side by side, so a buyer in any market reads it without converting. The toggle above switches which unit leads — the figures are the same either way.

Values are representative, confirmed on your graded sample.

The figures are our standard fishing-block representative measurements — a real starting reference, not a loose S/M/L picture. On an order, the signed-off graded sample is the exact spec; a production tolerance of roughly ±1–2 cm applies by size and process.

Where to look next — this page is sizing and fit only. For fabric weight, UPF and performance specs see fabric specs; for how a garment is built (seams, panels, features) see the product construction. Here we stay on dimensions.

POMHow To Measure

How to measure: the body measurements and points of measure to take.

To match your people (or your existing garments) to the charts, you take a handful of measurements the same way we do. Here's each point of measure — what it is and where the tape sits — so your numbers line up with ours. (Use a soft tailor's tape; keep it level, not tight.)

A soft tailor's tape measuring a fishing garment at the chest point of measure
1

Chest / bust

Around the fullest part of the chest, under the arms, tape level and parallel to the floor. This is the primary size driver for every top.

2

Body length (HPS to hem)

From the high point of the shoulder (next to the neck) straight down to the hem, for how long a shirt or hoodie sits.

3

Sleeve length

From the shoulder seam along a slightly bent arm to the wrist (or shoulder-to-cuff on the flat garment), for long-sleeve fit.

4

Waist

Around the natural waistline for a relaxed fit, or where the garment waistband is meant to sit, for pants and shorts.

5

Hip / seat

Around the fullest part of the seat, standing feet together — the number that decides whether a bottom pulls across the seat.

6

Inseam

From the crotch seam straight down the inside leg to the hem, for pants and short length.

7

Head circumference

Around the head just above the ears and eyebrows, level, for fitted hats and gaiters.

Take the body number, then read down the garment chart to the size whose garment measurement gives the fit you want — snug, standard or roomy (see the fit types below).

TOPSSize Chart

Size chart: fishing shirts, sun hoodies and tops.

Garment measurements for long-sleeve shirts, sun hoodies, jerseys and polos on our standard unisex adult block, laid flat, in cm and inches. Match your body chest to the garment chest with the ease you want. (Representative; confirmed on your graded sample.)

Representative garment measurements, ±1–2 cm tolerance. Women's and youth tops run on their own blocks — see size ranges.

How to use it: chest is a full (all-round) garment measurement — laid-flat pit-to-pit is half this. Chest grades about 6 cm (~2.4 in) per size. Short-sleeve and gaiter-collar hoodie blocks share these chest and length figures; sleeve differs by style.

BOTTOMSSize Chart

Size chart: fishing pants and shorts.

Garment measurements for fishing pants and quick-dry shorts on our standard block, in cm and inches — waist and hip all-round, inseam for pants, plus the shorts inseam grid. (Representative; confirmed on your graded sample.)

Representative garment measurements, ±1–2 cm tolerance. Waist is a relaxed measurement; performance waistbands stretch beyond the flat number.

Shorts inseam grid: the same waist and hip apply to shorts; inseam runs a 6"–9" grid — about 18 cm (7") S to 23 cm (9") 3XL — specify the inseam length with the size.

How to use it: waist grades about 6 cm (~2.4 in) per size. Articulated-knee and zip-off blocks share these figures.

HEADSize Chart

Size chart: hats, headwear and neck gaiters.

Head circumference for fitted styles, and the flat dimensions for one-size adjustable hats and gaiters. Measure head circumference just above the ears; match it to the range below. (Representative; confirmed on your graded sample.)

Neck gaiters — one size: a tubular gaiter measures roughly 24 cm (9½") wide × 48 cm (19") long laid flat, stretching to fit adult neck and face coverage; a youth gaiter runs smaller.

How to use it: for fitted hats, round a between-sizes head up; for adjustable and gaiter styles, one size covers the range above.

FITFit Types

Fit types: regular, relaxed and athletic.

The same numeric size can be cut on different fit blocks — the chest number stays close, but the shape through the body and the length change. Pick the block your buyers expect, and the size chart above shifts with it. (Representative deltas off the standard block.)

Baseline

Regular fit

The standard block above.

A straight, all-day working fit with room to layer, neither boxy nor tapered. The S4–S6 charts are cut on this — use it as the baseline the other two adjust from.

Roomier

Relaxed fit

For coverage and layering.

Adds roughly +4–6 cm through the chest and body and about +2 cm in length off the regular block, for a looser drape, over-layers, or a sun-shirt worn oversized. Same labeled size, more room.

Trimmer

Athletic fit

Performance, trimmer body.

Takes about −4–6 cm through the chest and waist with a slightly shorter, tapered body, for a race-jersey or performance look that moves with the caster without excess cloth. Same labeled size, closer cut.

How to order it: tell us the fit block with your order and we grade the whole run to it — or mix blocks across styles (regular shirts, athletic jerseys) in one program.

RANGESSize Ranges

Size ranges: men's, women's, youth and extended sizes.

Which audiences each block covers, and the representative anchor each range runs from — so you know a program can dress a whole crew, family or team, not just standard men's. (Full graded charts per range on request.)

Unisex / men's

XS – 5XLDefault block

The default block for most fishing programs; the size charts above run here. XS is available below S (chest ~98 cm / 38½ in) on request.

Women's

WS – W2XLShaped block

A separate women's block with a shaped waist and adjusted length, representative chest about 90 cm (35½ in) WS to 114 cm (45 in) W2XL; full graded chart supplied per program.

Youth

YXS – YXLBy age & height

Graded by age and height, roughly age 4 (~110 cm / 43 in tall) to age 16 (~163 cm / 64 in); used for family-brand runs, junior tournaments and gift kits.

Extended / plus

4XL, 5XL+On request

The adult block already grades to 5XL; larger and plus-specific blocks are graded on request so a big-and-tall crew isn't left out of a run.

One program can carry more than one range at once — a men's, women's and youth split in the same order — so a single design dresses everyone.

RUNSize Run & Grading

Planning a bulk size run and grading to your own spec.

Two things a factory order lets you do that an off-the-shelf chart can't: allocate the quantities across sizes for your market, and grade the dimensions to your own standard. Here's how both work. (Representative; confirmed on your graded sample.)

Plan the size curve, not just the total

A representative unisex adult split

S10%
M22%
L28%
XL22%
2XL12%
3XL+6%

A bulk order isn't equal per size — it follows a curve, weighted to the middle sizes. We start from this curve and shift it to your market and audience, so you don't over-buy the tails and sit on dead stock.

Split a team or fleet by name

For a crew, fleet or roster, send the per-person sizes and we build the run to that exact list — a size-by-size count instead of a guessed spread — mixed sizes filling one order (the mixed-size MOQ mechanism is on the home page).

Grade to your own size chart

If you already run a size standard — from existing stock or your brand's spec — we grade the pattern to your numbers, not ours: adjust the fit block, shift a length, or extend the range, so a reorder drops straight into your existing sizing.

A graded sample locks the size

Before bulk, a graded sample in your key sizes confirms the fit against the spec — a fit approval on the actual garment, so the size is proven in hand, not just on paper. (Request a sample to start.)

Send your size split or your own chart at the brief, and we map the run and the grade to it — so the order arrives sorted to your sizes, not ours.
